Water isotopes are useful tracers of water flow paths within the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum.

Last week the UNICA research team,  Prof. Yann Salmon from the Helsinky University (Finland), and Prof. Ram Oren from the Duke University (USA) had a brainsorming on water-isotope-based methods, followed by a field inspection to the Marganai Forest to set up the upcoming monitoring activities.
